The No. 6 nuclear power unit of the Hualong One demonstration project at the Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant in Fuqing, Southeast China's Fujian Province, completed cold functional testing on Jan 11, 2021.
The Hualong One is China's third generation nuclear power technology with completely independent intellectual property rights.
Developed by China National Nuclear Corporation, Hualong One has a designed life of 60 years and meets the highest international safety standards.
