Pingtan Strait Road-Rail Bridge
The Pingtan Strait Road-Rail Bridge, the world's longest cross-strait highway-railway dual-use bridge, opened to traffic on Dec 26. It is the first of its kind in China.
A key section of the Fuzhou-Pingtan railway, the bridge is also a major part of the Hefei-Fuzhou railway and the Beijing-Fuzhou railway.
