'Pocket Parks' in Shandong Open to Public

Several pocket parks recently opened to the public in Pingdu of Qingdao, Shandong province.

The so called "pocket parks" were renovated from some micro spaces in urban areas so as to improve the living environment for the public.

Now they are ideal places for residents to do daily activities. They have improved utilization of urban land resource and optimized people's daily enjoyment.

The park project was intended to promote regional new and old kinetic energy conversion and rural revitalization.

Operation of the parks is expected to increase the region's ability to attract investment and talents and will drive development in affected areas.

The parks were contracted by CRCC Chongqing Investment Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited.
