The Xiongan Railway Station of the Beijing-Xiongan Intercity Railway is now being decorated.
The largest station along the railway, it was jointly designed by five enterprises including China Architecture Design & Research Group, a subsidiary of China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd.
With a total investment of about 8 billion yuan ($1.22 billion), the project included construction of the station building, municipal supporting facilities, the urban rail transit engineering and the underground facilities.
The total building area of the station is about 475,200 square meters, equaling 66 standard football pitches.
The station has five stories, two of them underground.
Advanced technologies including cloud computing, the internet of things, big data and artificial intelligence will help build the station into a world-leading modern comprehensive traffic hub.
