The main body and facility installation of the Dalong Bay sewage treatment plant in Wuhu, East China's Anhui province recently passed inspection, indicating that operations will begin soon.
It was the first Yangtze River protection project in which China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) participated.
The Yangtze River protection project is intended to improve the ecological environment along the river.
The plant is equipped with advanced AAO sewage treatment and biological odor removing systems to effectively reduce pollution of the Yangtze River.
