China's First Cross-Sea High-Speed Railway Progresses

Updated: November 06, 2020

The Meizhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge of the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway in Southeast China's Fujian province is progressing smoothly.

China Railway 11 Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, contractor of the project, is overcoming difficulties brought by the strong sea wind and high waves as well as the large temperature difference between day and night.

The Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is China's first cross-sea high-speed railway.
