Photovoltaic poverty-alleviation project in areas in Dabie Mountains
State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) has focused on promoting poverty-alleviation projects based on the photovoltaic (PV) industry in recent years.
It has built 184 PV power stations in Shangcheng and Fengning counties in Hebei and Henan provinces, which have a total capacity of 12,483 kilowatts.
Among them, 154 were constructed in Shangcheng. The annual income of the stations is more than 10 million yuan, which all goes to village collectives and poverty-stricken households.
