The China Metallurgical Geology Bureau (CMGB) is devoted to industrial transformation and upgrading and making full use of the geomatics industry and its advantages in smart cities, environmental protection and engineering to create safe, green and highly-efficient social environments and integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
CMGB established Zhengyuan Geomatics Group Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang Deqing Geographic Information Town in 2013 which went on to build the Zhengyuan Industrial base in Deqing county in East China's Zhejiang province.
For the past few years, CMGB was responsible for several projects in flood control and drainage, waste water treatment and water supply and conservation, as well as in other smart municipal services and intelligent weather broadcasting.
It is now centering on water environment treatment and playing a role in high-quality development and utilization of underground space in urban areas in the Yangtze River Delta region. It participates in construction of the province's multi-data aggregation integrated supervision and management system.
It is also committed to environmental protection in the region.
Safecleen Technologies Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CMGB, has played a leading role in treatment and resource utilization of sludge as well as ecological restoration of rivers and lakes.
Its sludge treatment station in Qingpu district in Shanghai developed a unique treatment technology by which the waste is separated and made into various components used as building materials and in landfill filling.
The technology is now used in many provincial regions.
Geotechnical engineering is also an advantage of CMGB.
The company's subsidiary in Southeast China's Fujian province developed a compounding soft foundation treatment technology for application in projects in soft earth areas in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The technology calls for less concrete and chemical fixation accelerator and limits deformation of the soft foundation by improving performance of the original soil.
It has been used in construction of the foundations of several projects in Zhejiang and Shanghai.
The company will continue to strengthen technological innovation and promote the role of industrial transformation and upgrading in integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, a contribution to building a beautiful China.
