The overall intercity railway design in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area made by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) obtained approval from the National Development and Reform Commission on Aug 4, 2020.
Intercity railways will promote logistics, capital flow and information exchange and contribute to deep integration of industrial chains in the area.
One-hour traffic in the area is expected to be achieved in the future by relying on the railways.
