The Chang'e 4 lunar probe successfully landed on the moon's far side and the lunar rover Yutu 2 separated from the probe and started exploration of the lunar surface in January 2019.
The success made China the first country to land and conduct operations on the far side of the moon.
With the support of the Queqiao relay satellite, the Chang'e 4 probe and Yutu 2 took clear pictures of each other.
Domestic and foreign scientific payloads proceeded smoothly and all scientific experiments were completed on-schedule, proof that the Chang'e 4 lunar probe has fulfilled its missions.
