World’s largest single automatic intelligent wharf built in December 2017 connects China and the world

Yangshan Deepwater Port has been constructed in four phrases since 2002. It is the largest offshore deepwater port and stand-alone automatic intelligent terminal in the world. It's also a container hub port with the highest degree of integrated automation in the world. On Dec 10, 2017, the opening of Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV Terminal boosted the annual throughput capacity of Shanghai Port to over 40 million standard containers, accounting for one tenth of the global port throughput, and equal to the amount of all the ports of the United States.
