The new port of Djibouti began operating in May 2017

China Merchants Group is actively laying out a global port network. In December 2012, China Merchants Group (CMG) became the second largest shareholder of the Djibouti Port. In May 2017, the new port of Djibouti was completed and officially opened for operation. The picture shows the new port of Djibouti.
