The largest solar photovoltaic power station in Central and Eastern Europe

The Czech VEPREK solar photovoltaic power station, the ninth largest in the world and the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, was connected to the grid and started to generate energy on Sep 8, 2010. The total installed capacity is 35M. All solar PV modules were provided by the independent brand "PHONO SOLAR" of SUMEC, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd (Sinomach)
