Sinochem Group' overseas acquisition began China’s international trade

On Oct 4, 1988, Sinochem Group acquired 50 percent of Pacific Refining Company, a subsidiary of West Coast Ventures Group, which was the start for Chinese companies to do business internationally. It marked China's foreign trade companies have gradually transformed into multinational companies.
