The Yilong I-D, China's first all composite multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), succeeded in its maiden flight on Dec 23, 2018.

Developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., the UAV is equipped with a high definition electro-optical pod (EO) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) as well as devices for communication or electronic reconnaissance that can be installed according to users' requirements.

Its successful maiden flight improves the Yilong series' competitiveness in the advanced multipurpose UAV global market.
