Updated: 2022-05-30

Offshore installation of the Haiji One, Asia's first deepwater jacket independently designed and built by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), was completed on May 24.

With a total weight of nearly 40,000 metric tons, the platform is currently the heaviest single crude oil production platform in China.
