New Railway Station in Anhui Ready for Service

The Lushan Railway Station of Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Railway in East China's Jiangxi Province is now open to the public.

Built by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, the Lushan Station is the largest in the railway and is renovated on the base of the original buildings.

The station covers an area of 60,000 square meters, 15 times bigger than the previous one.

It's worth noting that the construction of the station adopted the first large-scale high-drop hyperboloidal exterior curtain wall engineering method in China. The wall consisting of three ultra-large hyperboloidal canopies has the most complicated interior structure of its kind in the country.

The station hall has a roof painted with cloud patterns of the Lushan Scenic Spot, and the nine skylights on the roof symbolize the nine rivers in the region.

The Lushan Station is expected to provide services for five railways and will play a key role in supporting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, boosting cultural and economic exchanges making it convenient for traveling between central regions of China.
