Based on experience of the network-supported telephone traffic model, China Unicom adopted other digital methods to give an accurate assessment of the production resumption area, thus enabling quick error targeting to protect users' network experience.

In addition, the digital process helps highly-efficient problem-solving and visible and controllable operation during the entire process.

At present, 75 high-load base stations are under control and further optimization will continue.

Targeting user experience

China Unicom in Shanghai adopted technological methods to survey areas where workers have returned to their positions and used big data and accurate scenario matching technologies to identify targets and track their movements.

Thanks to the system, the company is able to realize fast deployment in typical scenarios and accurately match special scenes; it can also respond effectively to complex wireless environments and improve 5G users' perceptions within them.

With the automatic parameter adjustment function, the system can in addition dispatch power according to the telephone traffic conditions to solve load and coverage problems.

While guaranteeing pandemic prevention and control, China Unicom in Shanghai established a special tracing service system to provide accurate, in-time and effective network service for key projects and support resumption of production.

Supporting key enterprises to resume production

In respond to production resumption amid the pandemic, China Unicom in Shanghai allocated machines to support workers returning to their positions.

At the entrance of a power generation company in Shanghai, workers can complete identification and health checks by looking at the camera and scanning their identification card on the machine, which is safe and efficient.
