CSCEC's Project in Kuala Lumpur Wins Luban Prize

The Cainiao eHub logistics project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, contracted by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), won the 2020-2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize for overseas projects, according to a company announcement on April 20.

Chen Zhenfeng, manager of the project, said that adoption of new technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) contributed to the project's highly-efficient construction and its overall quality.

Covering an area of 242,800 square meters, the eHub project is the largest logistics infrastructure for e-commerce in the country and is expected to provide supply chain facilities for logistics and storage, as well as customs clearance, trade and financial services.

The company said that the Malaysian customs has established an office at the logistics hub to realize fast customs clearance and a Chinese package can be delivered to an overseas consumer within 72 hours.
