Sinochem Holdings Contributes to Construction of World's Largest 'marine ranch'

Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (Sinochem Holdings) played a key role in building Guo Xin Yi Hao, the world's first 100,000-metric-ton large-scale smart fishery breeding vessel, as the only paint supplier and has provided supporting service for the vessel.

It was launched on Jan 25, 2022, and is scheduled to be delivered this March. It will act as a mobile "marine ranch" in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea for high-quality fish breeding.

According to the vessel's navigation and operation features, Sinochem Holdings made a special paint plan which meets the requirements of long-term offshore navigation and breeding.

It's worth noting that a new type of solvent-free paint was used in the epoxy fresh water tank, which improves the vessel's resistance capacity against water, salt spray and corrosion and at the same time has no impact on water quality or fish.

The paint solution has been approved as meeting China's national fishery water quality standards and is expected to be widely used in construction of sea water and fresh water culture ponds, underwater tanks and water transmission pipelines.

Guo Xin Yi Hao is 249.9 meters long, 45 meters wide and 21.5 meters deep and is designed with 15 breeding cabins, which makes it the largest vessel of its kind in the world. It is the world's first 100,000-ton large-scale fully enclosed mobile breeding platform with high automation and informatization.
