China Tourism Group is playing a key role in COVID-19 prevention and control in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It has donated supplies, helped organize quarantine hotels, arranged passenger transport and provided other services to support the government in its fight against the pandemic.
The company donated nearly 390,000 masks to nine communities as well as disinfectant materials and anti-pandemic supplies soon after learning citizens' needs and arranged chartered coaches for government officials to Shenzhen of South China's Guangdong Province where they participated in seminars focusing on COVID-19 prevention.
As the pandemic continued to spread, the central government and the government of Hong Kong urgently opened port service channels to meet the growing travel demands of people in the two regions.
In response to the travel demand, China Tourism Group deployed vehicles and service personnel and carried out disinfection work on the shuttle buses to guarantee safety.

In addition, the company's subordinate hotels strengthened various epidemic prevention measures such as hotel disinfection and waste classification and disposal to eliminate the risk of pandemic transmission.
Its hotel deployment has helped solved a shortage of quarantine sites and facilities in the region.
Since last May, China Tourism Group has sent more than 20 staff members to help with vaccination in certain communities in Hong Kong.
To make it easier for children and community residents to receive vaccination, China Tourism Group staff members were also deployed to the Children's Community Vaccination Center and mobile vaccination stations for assistance.
So far, the company has provided more than 100 vaccination services to schools, government departments and enterprises and over 300,000 Hong Kong citizens have been vaccinated through those efforts.
