Yihang Jinzhuang is the world's most advanced 140-meter-class pile-driving barge.
It is the first barge of its kind to be installed with full electric auxiliary propulsion that can realize flexible movement and orientation adjustment in all directions.
It is also equipped with a self-developed engineering management control system and integrated Beidou satellite navigation system technology, as well as near-shore 4G and satellite communication, which enables the barge to handle all offshore conditions and to carry out self-propelled berthing and stationing.
The technology reduces demand for auxiliary vessels, improves construction efficiency and realizes digital management, intelligent engineering and green operation.
The barge was invested and developed by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company Ltd. and built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., both subsidiaries of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC).
It is expected to be used in construction of large-scale pile foundations, wind power conduit frame piles and wind power monopoles and to play a key role in construction of large ports, cross-sea bridges and offshore wind power projects.
