Updated: 2022-01-10

The Yimin Power Plant's long distance heat supply project in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region passed a 72-hour trial operation on Dec 15. All equipment indicators showed outstanding performance.

China Energy Engineering Group Heilongjiang Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. was responsible for construction and installation of the first station of heat network and Nos. 1 and 2 relay pumping stations as well as engineering of some parts of the chemical transformation facilities.

The project is currently the world's longest in high-latitude and cold regions and is expected to meet heat demands in Hailar over 15.28 million square meters.

Once operational, it will contribute to energy-conservation and emission reduction to improve urban environment quality and boost urban construction and development.
