He said that with the steadfast commitment and vigorous promotion of the leaders of our two parties, China-Cuba ties continued to grow in a steady way. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel have reached many consensuses on the development of China-Cuba relations in the new era, promoting new development in bilateral relationship and charting the course for the in-depth cooperation between state assets and SOEs of the two countries.

In recent years, Chinese central SOEs and Cuban enterprises have strengthened economic and trade exchanges and carried out extensive cooperation in transportation, energy, tourism, and infrastructure construction, achieving remarkable results.

Hao said that both China and Cuba are socialist countries, and the SOEs of both countries are important forces in driving the growth of national economy. Strengthening exchanges and mutual learning of experience in SOE development, reform and supervision is of positive significance in promoting the economic and social development for both sides.

SASAC is willing to work together with relevant departments of Cuba to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen and improve the exchange and communication mechanisms between the two sides, actively promote high-level practical cooperation between SOEs of the two countries, and jointly strive to achieve high-quality development and make new contribution to promoting the economic development of both countries and enhance the friendship between Chinese and Cuban people.

Pereira spoke highly of the achievements of China's economic development in recent years, and appreciated the good results in the reform and innovation of Chinese SOEs. He said Cuba has been committed to long-term friendship with China and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in various fields. He said he hopes to further deepen the exchanges of experience and increase practical cooperation with China in development, reform and supervision of state assets and SOEs so as to better achieve joint progress, mutual benefit, and win-win results.
