China Delivers New Xinzhou-60 Aircraft to Djibouti

A China-made Xinzhou-60 airplane recently left for Djibouti from Kunming Changshui International Airport in Southwest China's Yunnan Province.

It is the second Xinzhou-60 delivered to the Djibouti buyer by AVIC XAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. (AVIC).

The aircraft landed at Kunming Changshui International Airport on Nov 16, and a working conference was held on Nov 19 for its transfer. At the meeting, discussions on the technical status of the aircraft, flight service and international route protection were made and the handover certificate was signed.

The aircraft had a four-day flight before it landed in Djibouti and its journey covered 4,831 nautical miles (8,947 kilometers), passing six countries including Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
