It is powered by pure supercapacitors and supported by a 2.5-megawatt direct current (DC) shore power station that ensures uninterrupted operation of the ferry.

It is also installed with various technologies with independent intellectual property rights such as DC network electric propulsion, energy storage control and smart ship applications.

The ferry is expected to demonstrate new applications for new-energy-powered ships navigating in coastal areas and inland rivers.
