First China-Led International Additive Manufacturing Standard Issued

The ISO/IEC23510:2021 Information technology — 3D printing and scanning — Framework for an Additive Manufacturing Service Platform (AMSP), the first China-led international standard for additive manufacturing was issued this October.

The standard was presided over by the China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group and is a milestone in China's international standardization work in emerging fields.

Initially filed in August 2018, the standard will normalize and promote additive manufacturing development in aspects of platform building, provision of services and intelligent transformation.

The China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group has highly valued and participated in international standardization work.

It will continue to work on technology development in equipment manufacturing, increase scientific research and development investment and improve China's contribution to international standardization.
