COSCO SHIPPING Group Supports Transportation between Central China and Africa

Updated: 2021-10-19

The rail-sea joint transport passage linking China's Hunan and Guangdong provinces and African countries is now in service, as the first freight train recently left Zhuzhou in Hunan for Kenya.

The passage was initiated by China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited (COSCO SHIPPING Group) and its construction started this July. Its operation is expected to improve logistic efficiency and lower costs for freight transport to Africa.

COSCO SHIPPING Group will step up efforts for the development of the China-Africa trade service platform and push forward the high-quality development of Hunan with new paths and modes.
