Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) will participate in construction projects of a cement plant in Republika Srpska and a mine infrastructure in Angola.
POWERCHINA has signed agreements on development of the clinker cement plant in Republika Srpska and construction of copper mine infrastructure in Angola at the 12th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum in Macao.
Located in Novigrad, the cement plant will be the country's first cement plant with a designed daily output of about 2,000 metric tons. It is the first cement plant project in Republika Srpska.
Once operational, it is expected to meet local cement demands and boost economic development of the country and neighboring areas.
In terms of the copper mine project in Uige Province, Angola, 1,000 to 3,000 tons of products are expected to be produced daily when the project is completed, making it a pillar of economic growth and a key player in improving employment in the area.
Also signed at the forum were 11 business contracts, cooperation agreements, framework agreements and memorandums of cooperation among 20 enterprises.
They are related to various fields such as industrial strategic cooperation, infrastructure construction, power engineering, energy storage and transportation, and construction machinery.
