China's First Large Hydropower Project on Yangtze River Celebrates 40th Anniversary

The Gezhouba Dam, a main part of China's largest water control project that was domestically surveyed, designed, built and made operational in the 20th century, celebrated its 40th anniversary of its commissioning for power generation.
