CREC Rescues Residents Trapped by Flood in Henan

Subsidiaries of China Railway Group Limited (CREC) sent employees to Central China's province of Henan to take on rescue and risk inspection missions following the recent heavy rain and severe flooding.

Employees of Fifth Engineering Co., Ltd of China Railway Seventh Group rushed to Hanghai Road in Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan, with no delay when the road was submerged in water and rescued more than 30 residents.

China Railway Beijing Engineering Group Co., Ltd dispatched 35 management officials and workers to improve security risk prevention and inspection at each station of its Zhengzhou project and allocated emergency supplies and facilities including water pumps, sand bags, pump pipes and cranes, fork-lift trucks and diggers.
