CASIC Develops Cloud Platform to Ease Urban Parking

A cloud parking platform developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC) has been put into operation with the intention of making it easier for users to park their cars.

Based on technologies like big data, cloud computing, mobile internet and 5G, the platform has smart urban parking analysis and prediction capacity, which is expected to promote a digital transformation of the parking industry.

Urban parking big data is effectively used by the platform to provide services like parking place inquiry, booking, navigation and payment.

The platform can help to make use of idle parking places, as well as operate and manage charging spaces.

In addition to offering parking service to drivers, the platform is also a tool to help the government make relevant decisions and can provide comprehensive side-parking management.
