Hao said that the past 100 years were a glorious process of the CPC-led endeavors to fight for national independence and build the country. The Party has firmly stayed true to its founding mission and led the Chinese people in embarking on the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, accomplishing great deeds, forming a great spirit and accumulating valuable experiences. It has written a glorious chapter in the historic course of China's national development and the development of human society.
As the eldest "sons" of the country and the pillars of building China into a great power, SOEs have played an important role in economic and social development, scientific progress, national defense and the improvement of people's livelihoods, and have made huge contributions to the realization of the Party's first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. As the guardian of state-owned capital and the promoter of the reform and development of SOEs, SASAC should firmly follow the leadership of the Party, support SOEs to become bigger, stronger and more competitive, preserve and increase the value of state-owned capital, utilize high-quality Party building to spur high-quality development, and contribute all its strength to further consolidating the material and political foundation to guarantee the Party's leadership and development of the country.

Struggles are the best salute to the centenary of the CPC's founding, said Hao.
At the conclusion of the ceremony all participants rose to sing the chorus of the song Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China.
