TravelSky Contributes to China's Smart Airport

Updated: 2021-06-16

A smart system for small-and medium-sized airports has been playing a crucial role at Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport, which opened for service just a month ago in East China's Anhui Province.

Developed by China TravelSky Holding Company Limited (TravelSky), the system intends to improve passengers' travel experience at such small and medium-sized airports, and is China's first of its kind.

Focused on smart security, production, resources and experience, the system is used in self check-in and luggage check-in, security check, flight display, self-boarding and the ONEID self-sovereign digital identity platform.

It also plays a role in improving airport management and customized services like feeds of news and flight information to passengers.

By May 28, 166 flights had departed from the airport with passenger throughput of 6,928 people.
