Genertec Steps up Efforts to Develop Its Medical Care Industry

Updated: 2021-05-17

China General Technology (Group) Holding Co Ltd (Genertec) demonstrated its digital healthcare system at the 4th Digital China Summit in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian Province, on April 25.

At Genertec's 216-square meter booth, people were drawn to the "Genertec Clinic".

Relying on the strong physical medical institution strength, the Genertec Clinic is a healthcare system covering small and medium-sized cities and towns in China with scale, standardization and chain operation.

General practitioners are able to provide high-quality diagnosis and rehabilitation services to patients through the system.

Mobile medical care services and circuit physical examination hospital cars are also able to offer home medical services through the Genertec Clinic.

The Genertec Clinic intends to establish a dynamic health management system through which people can access high-quality medical resources inside and outside Genertec.

A mobile nucleic acid testing vehicle was also on display at the booth.

Through technologies like visual recognition and pressure sensing, the machine is capable of picking up swabs, opening tubes and placing the samples into the tube automatically.

It is also China's first mobile coronavirus testing vehicle, integrating collection and testing functions.

The vehicle can give out a test report within 45 minutes and send it to the client's smart phone.

One of the three central state-owned enterprises approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to focus on medicine and health, Genertec has more than 170 medical institutes, benefiting people in 21 provincial regions.

With more than 32,000 beds, its outpatient and emergency service has delivered more than 16 million treatments.

Genertec has been making efforts in the high-quality development of the medical and health industry.

Its medical subsidiaries have launched a big data health platform and made more than 20 data standards for medical and health data collection and its connection to "internet of things" equipment at enterprise level.

Data models and connection platforms covering things like prescriptions, medical advice, medical records, examinations, treatment and medical fees were also developed by the company.

So far, the platform has accessed over 1.6 billion pieces of data from the Genertec's nine hospitals and 30 external medical checkups, and has constructed 1.82 million health records.

The high-quality development of medical care includes the upgrading of medical management and services, the popularization of preventive care and rehabilitation, scientific research and development, and talent cultivation.

Genertec will continue to promote hospital information system construction, build digital collaboration platforms and data centers, and develop internet hospitals and other healthcare management and medical technology innovation scenarios to contribute to smart medical development and build a health industry highland.
