Baihetan Hydropower Station Starts Impounding

The Baihetan Hydropower Station recently started impounding, according to China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG).

Located on the Jinsha River on the border of Southwest China's Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, the station has a total installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts.

Its first generator units are scheduled to begin operation in July 2021.
