CGN, on the Road to a Greener World

Adhering to the idea of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) has been making efforts to improve the environment by promoting nuclear, wind and solar power.

More than 1.67 trillion kWh of power generated by the company has been transmitted for domestic and industrial use since its first nuclear generator unit went into operation in 1994. Such amounts of clean power reduce emissions by about 240 million tons of carbon dioxide, equaling the effect of over 9.31 million hectares of forest.
