The main tower of the Meizhou Bay cross-sea bridge in Southeast China's Fujian Province was roofed on March 10.
Located in Putian and Quanzhou in Fujian, the 14.7-kilometer bridge is the key section of the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway.
China Railway 11 Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, was responsible for the construction of the bridge.
The Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, is the first such sea-crossing line in China.
