China First Heavy Industries (CFHI), a typical old industrial base enterprise in Northeast China, has revitalized in recent years through comprehensively deepening reform.
The company established a whole set of new market mechanisms and a new operation mode to improve management capacity and make full use of its resources.
It also launched several regulations on promotion, incentive and sharing, which boosted employees' morale and promoted the company's competitiveness.
Innovation has been highly valued by the company in its reform. It launched an open and market-oriented technological innovation system integrating production, teaching and research.
It has set up 110 innovation workshops which include more than 3,000 talents and has been responsible for 28 key national scientific research missions in the last three years.
