World's Highest Big Data Center Ready for Operation

Updated: 2021-01-11

The first phase of the Ningsuan Data Center project in Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region recently passed inspection, designating the world's highest big data center as ready for service.

Located in the National High-tech Zone in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet, the center includes an operation building and two machine room buildings.

It is expected to evolve into an international data distribution center.

Construction of the project was contracted by China State Construction Engineering Corporation.

Based on its experience of the center in Tibet, the company is now developing similar facilities in South and Southeast Asian countries.
