Multi-purpose helicopter AC352 succeeds in its maiden flight on Dec 20, 2016

The multi-purpose helicopter AC352, China's first seven-ton helicopter for civil use, succeeded in its maiden flight on Dec 20, 2016.

Developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. (AVIC), the aircraft was made through cooperation between AVIC and Airbus in four locations in China and France. New types of management measures and modern information technology were adopted during development as well.

The aircraft meets the latest international airworthiness standards and has outstanding performance. It’s worth mentioning that the AC352 has the fastest speed among aircraft of its kind in the world.
