Most valuable investment project of Chinese enterprise in Ireland is signed on Dec 7, 2016

CGN Europe Energy and Gaelectric in Ireland signed an equity transfer agreement in Dublin on Dec 7, 2016 completing purchase by the Chinese company of Gaelectric's Douvan wind power project.

The most valuable project ever invested by a Chinese enterprise in Ireland, Douvan was also the first Irish renewable energy source project invested by a Chinese energy enterprise.

It was another major achievement after the company had won the bid for the pilot project of a sea float wind power in France and purchased the largest wind power plant in operation in Belgium as well as a solar power project in Senegal.
