Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed Railway, the first of its kind passing through the Qinling Mountains in China, opens to traffic on Dec 6, 2017

The Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed Railway, the first of its kind passing through the Qinling Mountains in China, opened to traffic on Dec 6, 2017.

The new line shortened travel time between the two cities to three hours and 27 minutes, seven hours shorter than before.

Passing through Qinling Mountains, the railway has a 45-kilometer up-slope from the Qingliang Mountain Tunnel with a direct fall of 1,100 meters, which is the longest and steepest continuous slope of a high-speed railway in China.

The NASPIC, or Longlin system, is released on Dec 6, 2018

The NASPIC, or Longlin system, a nuclear safety classification digital control system (DCS) platform, was released on Dec 6, 2018.

DCS is the control system of a nuclear power plant and a core to the plant's safe operation.

Independently developed by China National Nuclear Corporation and with complete proprietary intellectual property rights, the platform obtained the highest level of functional safety certification and world-leading levels in some of its key indexes, proving that it was ready to go global and promoting export of the country's nuclear technology as a whole.
