A CRH380BL EMU train sets a world record with a speed of 487.3 kilometers per hour on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway on Dec 3, 2010

A CRH380BL high-speed electric multiple unit (EMU) train set a world record with a speed of 487.3 kilometers per hour during its trial operation on the Zaozhuang-Bengbu section of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway on Dec 3, 2010.

Developed by China CNR Corporation Limited (now merged with China CSR Corporation Limited into CRRC Corporation Limited), the train has ten innovative technologies including a low resistance aerodynamic locomotive, fine body vibration mode, high airtight strength and good air tightness.

In addition, world-leading levels have been attained in technical indexes of operation speed, safe reliability, riding comfort and energy conservation and environmental protection as well as some economic indicators like life cycle costs.

Main girder of the Jingzhou Yangtze River highway-railway dual-use heavy load bridge is completed on Dec 3, 2015

The two sides of the main girder of the Jingzhou Yangtze River highway-railway dual-use bridge, China's first heavy load bridge across the Jingjiang River, were joined on Dec 3, 2015.

It was a milestone of the construction of the railway linking western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with Central China.

Designed and built by China Railway Group Limited, the 6,317.8-meter bridge has a main body of a double-tower truss cable-stayed bridge and a main span of 518 meters, the world's longest.
