The World's Biggest Steel Box Arch Bridge with Thrust Opened to Traffic on Nov 27, 2018

Guantang Bridge in Liuzhou, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, constructed by China Railway Group Limited, is completed and opened to traffic on Nov 27, 2018

Guantang Bridge in Liuzhou, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, constructed by China Railway Group Limited, was completed and opened to traffic on Nov 27, 2018. 

The bridge, spanning over a distance of 457 meters, has no pier in the water. 

The main line of the whole bridge is 1,155.5 meters long, and the bridge surface is connected with two arches above by 148 hooks. 

As the world's biggest long-pan steel box arch bridge with thrust and the ninth largest long-span steel box arch bridge, it set three world records for overall lifting height, overall lifting weight and lifting arch rib span.
