China opens world's first TD—LTE 4G internet-covered subway line in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, on Nov 24, 2012

Subway Line 1 in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, the world's first to be completely covered with TD—LTE 4G internet, opened for trial service on Nov 24, 2012.

The 47.97-kilometer line, with 31 stops, is a main component of the traffic network connecting the core area and suburbs of the city.

Installation and upgrading of the line's 4G communications system was shouldered by China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. and was completed by the opening date.

Passengers were able to use 4G internet with a highest speed of more than 40Mbps, according to a test.

An agreement on cooperation in development, construction and financing of the Budapest-Belgrade railway was signed by the Chinese and Hungarian governments on Nov 24, 2015.

Generally contracted by the consortium of China Railway Group Limited, China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. and Magyar Államvasutak, the 350-kilometer Budapest-Belgrade railway was the first China-contracted railway project in a European country, and contributed to promotion of Chinese railways and Chinese technology's "going global".
