Rectangular tube pipe rack project with the longest apex distance and the widest fracture surface in China is completed on Nov 18, 2017

The Yuanhetang pipe-jacking project in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, was completed on Nov 18, 2017.

Contracted by China Railway Group Limited, the project included construction of the rectangular tube pipe rack project with the longest apex distance, 233.6 meters, and the widest fracture surface, 9.1 meters, in China, earning it the title“the top roof of China”.

One of the first underground comprehensive pipe engineering projects to adopt rectangular pipe-jacking technology, it used the non-excavation rectangular jacking method which is green, environmental-friendly and safe.

During the construction, many difficulties including long distance anti-drag, shallow burying to cross the river and negative geological conditions were conquered, which laid a solid foundation for similar construction in future.
