First high-speed train for export rolls off production line on Nov 7, 2013

China CSR Corporation Limited (now merged with China CNR Corporation Limited into CRRC Corporation Limited) developed the first high-speed train for export on Nov 7, 2013.

The vehicle was based on the CRH380A trains' technology and has been purchased by the Mass Transit Railway on behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

With eight cars in a group, the train has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour and will be operated between West Kowloon and Guangzhou South Railway Station.

Construction of the Qinghai-Henan ±800 kV ultra-high voltage (UHV)direct current (DC) power transmission line, the world's highest of its kind, started on Nov 7, 2018.

About 385 kilometers of the line is built at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. The highest section is laid at 4,300 meters.

A major innovation adopting new-energy UHV transmission technology in a large-scale development, the project produces power completely by self-contained clean energy technology and is the first UHV passage for clean energy transmission in China and the world.
