Construction contract of the Hungarian and Serbian sections of the Budapest-Belgrade railway is signed on Nov 5, 2016

The construction contract of the Hungarian and Serbian sections of the Budapest-Belgrade railway was signed at the Summit of Heads of Government of Central and Eastern European Countries and China on Nov 5, 2016.

The signing of the contract was the beginning of the railway cooperation between China, Hungary and Serbia. It was also the first time an entire set of technology and equipment from China entered the European market.

Led by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., the Budapest-Belgrade railway was contracted by the Chinese enterprise consortium composed of China Railway Group Limited and China Railway Construction Corporation Limited.

Beidou Navigation Satellite System starts global networking on Nov 5, 2017

Two Beidou 3 navigation satellites for global networking were sent into space by a Long March 3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan Province on Nov 5, 2017.

Primarily developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, they were the 24th and 25th Beidou navigation satellites. They brought the Beidou Navigation Satellite System's global networking into a new era.
