China-developed large-type passenger plane, the C919, is completed on Nov 2, 2015

The C919, the first China-developed large-type passenger plane, rolled off the production line in Shanghai on Nov 2, 2015, placing China among the few countries able to manufacture such aircraft.

Developed by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd., the C919 is a large-type jet-propelled airplane for civil use. It has proprietary intellectual property rights and is self-developed according to international civil aviation regulations.

The plane has 158 to 168 seats and can travel 4,075 to 5,555 kilometers.

It has completed project approval, feasibility study and pre-development stages and is now to start the engineering development phase.

Chinese SOE-contracted largest hydropower plant in Cote d'Ivoire is completed on Nov 2, 2017

Construction of the Soubre Hydroelectric Power Station, the largest hydropower plant in Cote d'Ivoire, was completed on Nov 2, 2017.

With a total installed capacity of 275 megawatts, the plant can produce 1,190 GWh of electricity per year.

Contracted by Power Construction Corporation of China, it is the largest hydropower station ever built in western Africa and a core project of the country's energy balance strategy.
